as you all may know, i am a huge football fan. maybe i'm using the word "huge" in the wrong context because i am still learning a lot that goes into football but i do love the game; which is pretty ironic considering i was cheerleader all through middle school and high school and i couldn't tell you if we were in offense or defense. only time i knew is if the cheer had those words in it. i remember a cheer, "first and 10, do it again. first and 10!" i had no idea what that meant until just a couple of years ago. come to think of it, a lot of those chants are making a lot more sense now.
so the game is still very new to me, as well as fantasy football. this is my second year actually playing on my own and honestly, how has fantasy football not become an actual full-time job? because it could be. i like to think of myself as someone who can do it all. i certainly take on a lot of projects but when it comes to fantasy football, i kick myself for actually thinking i'm knowledgable to handle three leagues. i am definitely NOT!
i mean, it's not that i'm not knowledgable enough it's just that theres so much that goes into fantasy. theres the waiver-wire to consider and then you must pick up and/or drop players, and apparently wednesday is when all of those trades go down and you have to make sure your line up is ready for thursday, sunday and monday games. and then the next week comes along and repeat.
it's pretty exhausting but the rush of actually winning even just one league is pretty rewarding considering i actually wait until the last minute to move stuff around, and don't really care, it's still cool. how i got third place last year in one league is beyond me.
regardless of it all, waking up sunday mornings and rushing home thursday's and monday's to catch the games are the highlights of my weeks. thats all the rant i have about football. i hardly have time to keep up all with all my shows because of the game but it is well worth it. i LOVE football and i love incorporating it with my love for fashion. this dress is from sonnet james, so comfy! it was made for "playful mom's"--does it count if i'm a playing dog mom? i say so! anyway, i paired it together with my favorite new balance sneakers, BRONCOS cap and my chanel crossbody that has come out of my winter vault. the look screams football, given the hat and gives the look a relaxed and fun feel to it, which lately i've been all about.
well, i hope you all have an amazing tuesday! i think my friend daniella and i are going to have a tipsy tuesday with pumpkin being the main theme. we'll see how that goes. until next time, xo❥
